Keep crystal-clear, clean water flowing through your above ground pool with the Bestway® 5,678 L Polysphere™ Filter Pump! This powerful pump lasts longer, is more environmentally friendly and requires less maintenance than a traditional filter cartridge pump. It uses Polysphere filtration balls (included) to filter debris out of your pool, and features a transparent lid so you can easily see when it's time to give them a quick rinse with your garden hose. This filter pump is compatible with 1,100-31,700 L (300-8,400 gal.) above ground pools. This easy, low-maintenance pump does the dirty work, so you can focus on making memories with your family!

How do I perform the air purge operation?

To perform the the air purge operation, follow these steps:
First step: after connecting the hoses, remove the plug and install the debris screen or open the connection valves.
Second step: open the purge valve located on the top cover. The air will flow out until the water flows out.
Third step: close the purge valve tightly to avoid leakage.
Fourth step: plug in the filter pump, and it is ready to work.
IMPORTANT: this operation must be repeated every time you perform any maintance operation.
Why does the pump have to be under the water level?

The filter pump/sand filter is designed to be positioned on the ground. If the filter pump/sand filter is positioned at (or above) the water level, the motor will work without water. This will cause the filter pump/sand filter to be damaged.

Can I use my Flowclear filter pump with bigger models of pools, and what should I do?

Can the filter pump be used when a cover is on the pool?

Is it possible to use a timer with my filter pump?

IMPORTANT: the timer cannot be used if the filter pump is equipped with an external RCD or GFCI. The timer will compromize the functionality of the products. If the filter pump doesn't have an external PRCD or GFCI, you can use the timer. If you installed the filter pump together with a chlorinator or a pool heater, be sure the chlorinator has already finished the set cycle or switch off the pool heater before the filter pump.
Is the Skimatic filter pump suitable for all Bestway pools?

The Bestway Flowclear Skimatic filter pump is suitable with all dimensions of frames of Bestway pools and with the inflatable ring of the Fast Set pool, thanks to the two sets of hooks included in the product set.
IMPORTANT: the only structure in the Bestway pool range that is not compatible with the Skimatic Filter Pump is the steel wall Pool.
IMPORTANT: when you buy this product, be sure that the flow rate of the Skimatic filter pump is compatible with the water quantity in your pool.

Can the filter cartridge be cleaned in the dishwasher?

The filter cartridge can be cleaned in the dishwasher using temperatures under 30 ℃ and without using any detergent or degreasing.
For safety reasons, since the dirty filter cartridge contains bacteria and other harmful substances, any other dish or kitchen item should not be washed together with the dirty cartridge. Be sure to sanitize the dishwasher before starting the normal operations.
How can I connect the pool cleaner to a pool equipped with a Flowclear Skimatic Pump?

IMPORTANT: the adaptor necessary to connect the Flowclear Skimatic Pump may not be included in the set. If you need to connect the Skimatic Pump to the pool cleaner, ask your pool dealer to purchase the compatible adaptor.
To connect the pool cleaner to the Flowclear Skimatic Pump follow these instructions:
1. Unplug the pump
2. Unscrew the top ring to take out the strainer
3. Insert the adaptor inside the case of the skimmer on the hole in the bottom
4. Connect the hose of the pool cleaner to the adaptor
